Key Strategic Operating Principles

Asset Based Decision Making – In developing human and social capital, strengths and assets are our beginning point for decision-making. By feeding strengths and starving problems we cultivate the successes of individuals and communities. We see this as far more effective than focusing on deficiencies and weaknesses.

Price-Led Costing – By beginning with an understanding of what organizations and movements can comfortably commit to online media services and the related outcomes, we then creatively arrive at ways to provide sustainable services within those constraints.

Pilot, Pilot, Pilot – By trying new things in comprehensive but bite-sized pieces we mitigate the risks of large scale, but untested changes to services and the way we provide them. Piloting is employed to evaluate new roles for team members, new service configurations, as well as to introduce potential partners to our services without the need for long-term or unduly costly commitments.

Flow – Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi’s concept of Flow is used as lens for understanding work relationships, and the development of human and social capital within the scope of our work with each other and our client partners. We concentrate on enabling flow through behaviours, in our work environment and systems, and diligently watch for and remove barriers and inhibitors to flow.
