Riding a Wave to Thriving Communities

It’s been an exciting time of late, diving into the range of issues that fall under the umbrella of thriving communities.

I had the great pleasure of visiting Ottawa recently to cover the Federation of Canadian Municipalities Sustainable Communities Conference, and through blog posts and articles we’re digging into the concept of what sustainable really means. There are the obvious environmental demands of today to consider in the design of a sustainable future, for example, but we’re also hearing of the importance of accessing and nurturing human capital in the creation of a thriving community.

We look forward to continuing this conversation in review of the Ottawa conference while looking forward to the upcoming CoreChange Summit this weekend in Cincinnati. Axiom News will have a team there as hundreds gather to discuss how the strengths and gifts of that city’s citizenry can be leveraged to create a more thriving community there.
