Muhammad Yunus is partnering with the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad to create a fund that will seed social ventures in India. Read more in the Economic Times article.
New York State rolled out new benefit corporation law Feb. 10, with 13 businesses filing papers to become the state’s first benefit corporations. The new law has the ability to transform New York and the national economy by creating businesses that must create benefit for society and the environment in addition to profit.
